Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF)
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) has released a recruitment notification for 126 Constable (General Duty) vacancies under Sports Quota-2025. The vacancies are available across 28 sports disciplines for eligible male and female sportspersons. The vacancies are tentative and may be increased or decreased by ITBPF. Some disciplines are further divided into specific events or weight categories
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed sports achievement requirements. Eligible sports achievements include participation or medals in recognized competitions such as international competitions, national competitions, Inter-University competitions and Khelo India events during the prescribed period.
The basic age limit is:
18 to 23 years as on 1 November 2026.

Weight should be proportionate to height and age according to the prescribed medical standards.
5 years for meritorious sportspersons and 10 years for SC/ST meritorious sportspersons, as per applicable rules.
₹100 for Male UR/OBC/EWS candidates. Female and SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month (Pay Level-3) + applicable allowances and benefits.

There is no written examination for this recruitment.
The Sports Trial carries 40 marks and is qualifying in nature. Candidates need to secure at least 20 marks to qualify.
The Sports Trial marks are not added to the final merit score. The final merit is based on the prescribed sports achievement marking scheme.
Marks are awarded according to the candidate's highest eligible sports achievement.
